I have been reading this book with the title Jerusalem in The Quran. The book itself is not a recently published book. It was published in 2002. At that time my mother (who was reading it) was very engrossed with it. I took no interest to the book back then – only to found how interesting the book is.

Although there are a lot to be share, I managed only to put just a few in this post due to time constraint (and perhaps, a little bit of research here and there).

Forgive me for any mistake that any of the readers might find during their long tedious reading of this entry. This is perhaps my first experience of reading (and summarizing) a book of such kind. I really really hope any mistake could be pointed out for the benefits of all.

The Sea of Galilee
.
Narrated An-Nawwas ibn Sam'an that Rasulullah said:
.
...He will then call (that young man) and he will come forward laughing with his face gleaming (with happiness). It will at this very time that Allah will send Christ, son of Mary.
He will descend at the white minaret on the eastern side of Damascus, wearing two garments lightly dyed with saffron and placing his hands on the wings of two Angels. When he lowers his head, there will fall beads of perspiration from his head, and when he raises it up, beads like pearls will scatter from it. Every non-believer who smells the odor of his body will die and his breath will reach as far as he is able to see.
He will then search for him (Dajjal) until he catches hold of him at the gate of Ludd (Jerusalem) and kills him.
Then a people whom Allah had protected will come to Jesus, son of Mary, and he will wipe their faces and inform them of their ranks in Paradise. It will be under such conditions that Allah will reveal to Jesus these words: I have brought forth from among My servants such people against whom none will be able to fight; you take these people safely to Tur, and then Allah will send Gog and Magog and they will swarm down from every slope. The first of them will pass the lake of Tiberias and drink out of it. And when the last of them passes, he will say: There was once water there...

The Sea of Galilee is the major source of fresh water for Palestine, Jordan and Israel.But now the water level at Sea of Galilee is so low –just as the Hadith mentioned!
If the water becomes dry, Palestine and Jordan would have no other choice but to resort to desalinated saltwater by Israel. As such, Israel could easily use that to their advantage to sell ‘their water’ to Palestine and Jordan. In long run both countries will have to submit politically to Israel as they cannot afford the cost of water.

Uri Saguy is Chairman of Mekorot, the National Water Company Board of the State Israel. In a recent meeting of the board (early December 200) he made the following comments; “ The country’s water resources are on the verge of catastrophy and the government is not doing enough to avert the crisis”. He rejected the proposal to import fresh water from Turkey in orger to solve Israel’s water crisis . . The level in Lake Kinneret is at its lowest mark in recorded history

There are also several other article which were published in the Jerusalem Post (“Government ignoring the seriousness of water crisis”, December 5 2000 ).

Why is the government not taking seriously over this issue?

Why did’nt they import fresh water from Turkey?
.
Was it done intentionally?
.
One thing for sure – the water is drying up fast and we better direct our attention to it as it is much related to Gog and Magog (as been mentioned by the Hadith)

In simple plain language, what the verse is trying to say is that somewhere out there on earth, there is a town. The people of that town is banned from returning – not until Ya’ juj Ma’juj has already spread in every direction (spread throughout the world - or perhaps rule the world??!).
.
Question is, which town are we referring to? Which particular town has been destroyed?
.
In order to understand more, we need to refer to several more verse:
Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants the righteous, shall inherit the earth."
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (al- Anbiya : 105)
.
While it is true that the translation has mentioned “earth”, but if we look further, it does not seem to fit the context.
But We delivered (save) him (Abraham) and (his nephew) Lut (and directed them) to the land which We have blessed for the nations.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (al- Anbiya : 71)
.
This verse was about Abraham, when he was about to be burned, then Allah save him (Abraham) by making the fire to become cold. Allah then sent Abraham to the land which HE have blessed.
.
Question is, where is this “the land which HE have blessed? – which were “inherited by righteous people”?
.
I would like to suggest readers to look upon the map.
Remember Lut?

Remember his people were said to be punished and the land was turn upside down?
.
Take note where Dead Sea is located - and try to relate it with the verse al-Anbiya : 71
.
Now I guess we must have quite a clear view about which town/ earth/ land are we talking about. If still the subject is not clear, here are few verses more;
Glory to (Allah) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque , whose precincts (surrounding) We did bless,- in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things).
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ((al-Isra : 1)

Where is this farthest mosque? ** in Arabic, it is called “Masjid al- Aqsa”
.. and indeed this is the farthest mosque known by our prophet at that time.
Look at the verse, it has mentioned "whose surrounding we did bless".
.
That surrounding could not be other than Jerusalem – Holy Land!
.
Now that we have identified the land / town as Jerusalem /Holy Land – who are the people of this town? Why they were banned from returning?
.
Refer to this verse:
4. And We gave (Clear) Warning to the Children of Israel in the Book, that twice would they do mischief on the earth (Holy Land) and be elated with mighty arrogance (and twice would they be punished)!
.
5. When the first of the warnings came to pass, We sent against you Our servants given to terrible warfare: They entered the very inmost parts of your homes; and it was a warning (completely) fulfilled.

Dan Kami menyatakan kepada Bani Israil dalam Kitab itu: "Sesungguhnya kamu akan melakukan kerosakan di bumi (Palestin) dua kali, dan sesungguhnya kamu akan berlaku sombong angkuh dengan melampau.

Mudah-mudahan Tuhan kamu akan mengasihani kamu (kalau kamu bertaubat); dan jika kamu kembali (menderhaka), maka Kami pula akan kembali (menyeksa kamu di dunia); dan kami telah jadikan neraka: penjara bagi orang-orang kafir (pada hari
akhirat)

Notice there it was mentioned twice Israelites have committed wrongdoings?
.
And twice they were destroyed.
.
They were punished because they change the Torah.
.
What did they change?
.
“Know therefore that it is not because of your rightousness that the Lord, your God has given you this land to posses it: for you are a stiff necked people”
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (Deuteronomy 9:6)
.
They change the Torah, saying that the (Holy) Land was inherited not because of their righteousness – rather it was just because they were ‘selected’.
Not only that, they also change another verse:
.
Thou shalt not lend upon interest to thy brother (Jew); interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that is lent upon interest: You may charge a foreigner interest, but not an Israelite. Then the LORD your God will bless you in everything you do once you've entered the land and taken possession of it.
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . (Deuteronomy 23 : 19 -20)

In simpler words; a Jew cannot impose Riba on other Jew, but can do so to a non-Jew.

Now tell me, is it fair? Doesn’t that clearly show there are changing their “book” according to their own desire? They made ‘halal’ what is made ‘haram’ by Allah.

That is their first “wrongdoings”.
.
and for such they were punished.
.
First punishment took place around 587 BCE, where a Babylonian army led by Nebuchadnezzar laid siege against Jerusalem, massacred its inhabitants and destroyed the city including Masjid built by Solomon (Sulaiman a.s )
.
What about the “second’?
.
The second occasion they were expelled from the Holy Land is because of the killing of the prophets. They (Israelites) killed Zakaria in the masjid. John (Yahya) was also killed by means of deception. Finally they boasted of how they killed Jesus (Isa – which the Messiah sent to them). But actually they did not kill Isa a.s
That they said (in boast), "We killed Christ Jesus the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.;- but they killed him not, nor crucified him, but so it was made to appear to them, and those who differ therein are full of doubts, with no (certain) knowledge, but only conjecture to follow, for of a surety they killed him not:-

So the punishment this time was a Roman army which invade Jerusalem around 70 CE. The siege was led by General Titus. Again the inhabitants were killed and Jews were expelled from the Holy Land.

Now back to the topic.

it became clear to us that the town/earth/Land is Holy Land Jerusalem and the banned people are Israelites.
.
Before I proceed, I would like to stress that this is only my opinion, and are subjected to mistakes.
.
Above all, Wallahu’allam (Allah Knows best!)

According to the view of this writer to this book which I made reference to when writing this article, that city could not be other than Jerusalem – and the return of the Jews to Jerusalem (Holy Land) signifies that Ya’ juj Ma’juj has already spread of earth surface.

.. or rather,

.
..it is Ya’ juj Ma’juj that cause Jews to return to Holy Land!? !(i.e. without assistance of Ya’ juj Ma’juj, the Jews would never return to the Holy Land and establish the Jewish State of Israel.

Now consider these:
- isn’t it strange that Europe, essentially secular had interest in liberating Holy Land. In 1919? Why does a secular world order has an special obsession with Jerusalem, a town very much related to religion?
- If the Jews crucified and killed Isa a.k.a Jesus (or they thought they did) isn’t the alliance of Jews-Christians quite strange? Should not they be enemies and at war to each other?
- It was the British government issued the Balfour Declaration in 1917 among which has stared to supported the establishment national home for the Jewish people in Palestine.
- In 1919 a British army, led by General Allenby has led his army to victory over Turkish army that defended the Holy Land.
- Under the Mandate of League of Nations, Britain continued its goal of establishing Jewish National Homeland.

The World Order Today - a strange European obsession with the Holy Land .

At the time prophet Abraham (Ibrahim) made Hijrah to Holy Land, Babylon Persia, Egypt and China were at their top civilizations.
.
Europe (which include Greek and Romans) on the other had not yet emerged.
They live in complete isolation from the rest of the wolrd.
.
It was then around a strange and mysterious took place in Europe where Pagan (1200 -800 BC) and Roman civilizations (around 900BC) emerged suddenly. And overtook Europe. These civilizations has also much interest upon embarking conquest of the world.
.
However it is rather strange that the god and goddesses of the pagan life of these European people did no survive as did the god and goddesses of Hindu India - rather their belief was suddenly disappear centuries later and followed by Christianity with the emergence of Euro-Christian Church with Rome as the center.
One peculiar thing about this Euro-Christiany is that is has a strong (and strange) obsession for the Holy Land. When the European did lay siege on Jerusalem, they perpetrated barbaric act that shocked even the Christian world – they slaughter and kill the inhabitants of the Holy Land, sparing not even children and women.

Crusade supposed to be an act of faith. But what happened instead, revealed a ruthless, savage people.
Does an act of faith is compatible with innocent killing of children and women?
How else could one justify the merciless killing?
.
It should be put to our attention that after British had ruled the world and assisted the ‘birth’ of Israel, we see a mysterious change of ruling when USA became the ‘ruler’ of the world.
.
One of the evidence was during World War I, it is USA which save Britain from defeat. The ‘change’ even more obvious during World War II when it was an American Genaral, Eisenhower who led the Allied Troops as the supreme commander. Then in 1944 at the Bretton Woods conference, US dollar was selected as the new currency system, replacing the Sterling Pound (of Britain). The same goes to Bank of England, which was replaced by International Monetary Fund and World Bank. USA role Cuban crisis in 1963 and Suez crisis clearly demonstrate USA as the Ruling state of the World.
.
An interesting fact about this Ruling state of the World is that both have a strange obsession to Holy Land/ Jerusalem. In fact, USA was the first to recognize Israel as a ‘legitimate’ when it declared its independence on 1948. USA has provided financial and military aid to Israel. Look at how many vetoes were used to protect Israel. One of the most strange event that demonstrate this mysterious US-Israel alliance is during the Durban World Conference on Racism and Racial Discrimination. On that event Israel was condemned strongly for its oppression of Palestinian people.

Israel responded by walking out of the conference – followed by only one state – USA!
.
So what does all this means?
.
What I am saying is that, there is a mysterious world order that helps the Jews to return and claim its “right” of the Holy Land. And this world order seems to have spread all over the world.
.
.. and it seems like nobody can do nothing about it.

Agents of Fasad on Earth?
hey said: "O Zul-qarnain! the Gog and Magog (People) do great mischief on earth: shall we then render thee tribute in order that thou mightest erect a barrier between us and them?

What sort of great mischief are we dealing with?
.
Look at the world around us. Isn’t the world today full of ‘ great mischief’?
Immorality, oppression, corruption are widespread on earth today.
.
Look at the sexual revolution that is taking place in the earth today. Men now marry men – and the crazy world order has made them legal! Who started to make them legal? “Western” people of course.
.
Look at the widespread zina – both openly (especially in the west where they are having sex parties) and ‘secretly’ (for those who has a little bit decency – but they cheat their spouse though)
.
Isn’t that great mischief?
.
Alcohol? Bars are flourishing downtown. Beers are just part of everyday drinking.
.
What about the world economy today?
Wealth and money seems to circulate only among the rich while the poorer part of society remained trapped in their state of poverty.
.
Not to forget riba’, the economic oppression that is crippling poorer country – of course by with compliments of the modern secular state which is manipulating the banking and insurance system in the world.

Conclusion please..
.
What i am saying is:
- the return of Jews to the Holy Land means that Ya'juj Ma'juj has already spread based on verse al-anbiya : 96. (the word qaryah = town has been discussed much detail)
- .. or rather.. it is Ya'juj Ma'juj that cause the Jews to return to Holy Land. Who are they? They are the mysterious figure behind all those "plan" to bring the Jews back (and give protection to State of Israel i.e veto, UN bla.. bla..) and who are they? I think it has something to do with European civilization then continued by the Americans.
- and they are also agent of fasad (great mischief in this world). immorality, sexual perversity, oppression, killing, riba, pollution.. where do all this mischief comes from? I think it comes from "West". Who are the "West"? Europe + Americans.
Are they "Ya'juj Ma'juj"? who knows? I would like to stress that this is only an opinion, and are subjected to mistakes. WALLAHUA'LAM..

but one thing is clear for sure.

The Last Day (Yaumul Akhirat) is near.

Narrated Abu Said:

The Prophet said, "Allah will say, 'O Adam!. Adam will reply, 'Labbaik and Sa'daik (I respond to Your Calls, I am obedient to Your orders), wal Khair fi Yadaik (and all the good is in Your Hands)!' Then Allah will say (to Adam),
Bring out the people of the Fire.' Adam will say, 'What (how many) are the people of the Fire?' Allah will say, 'Out of every thousand (take out) nine-hundred and ninety-nine (persons).'
At that time children will become white-headed and every pregnant female will drop her load (have an abortion) and you will see the people as if they were drunk, yet not drunk; But Allah's punishment will be very severe."

That news distressed the companions of the Prophet too much, and they said, "O Allah's Apostle! Who amongst us will be that man (the lucky one out of one-thousand who will be saved from the Fire)?" He said, "Have the good news that one-thousand will be from Gog and Magog, and the one (to be saved will be) from you." The
.
Prophet added, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, I Hope that you (Muslims) will be one third of the people of Paradise." On that, we glorified and praised Allah and said, "Allahu Akbar." The Prophet then said, "By Him in Whose Hand my soul is, I hope that you will be one half of the people of Paradise, as your (Muslims) example in comparison to the other people (non-Muslims), is like that of a white hair on the skin of a black ox, or a round hairless spot on the foreleg of a donkey."
